# Single-participant ownership and AI-use note

This repository is submitted for the August Hackathon as a single-participant project by **CJR-ai-nb**.

## Repository owner and publisher

- GitHub repository: `https://github.com/CJR-ai-nb/evowitness`
- Mooncakes module: `CJR-ai-nb/evowitness`
- Participant, maintainer and submitter: `CJR-ai-nb`
- License: MIT

## Single-participant statement

EvoWitness is submitted as a single-person MoonBit project. The implementation, project boundary, README, examples, tests, CI configuration, package metadata and Mooncakes release are maintained under `CJR-ai-nb`.

The project uses AI-assisted development in the way allowed by the August Hackathon rules: for planning, code generation, tests, documentation, debugging and review. AI assistance does not add a second human participant, and the submitter remains responsible for correctness, licensing, maintainability and security.

## Commit metadata correction

The first submitted repository history displayed inconsistent Git author metadata from the preparation workflow. For the resubmission, Git author configuration is corrected so the default branch can be reviewed as a `CJR-ai-nb` single-participant project. This is a metadata and submission-clarity correction; it is not a fork, hidden extension or multi-person collaboration.

## No hidden upstream or copied project

EvoWitness is an original MoonBit implementation. It does not vendor third-party source code, copy private code or redistribute external assets. Test fixtures and examples are synthetic and were created for this repository. Runtime code depends only on the MoonBit standard library.

## Maintainer commitment

Release, review-response and maintenance commits are authored and pushed by `CJR-ai-nb` so that the public history is easy for reviewers and future users to trace.
