# Source, license, and originality statement

## Original implementation

`moonbit-rulesorigin` is an original MoonBit implementation. The domain model, evaluator, rules, codec, CLI, tests, examples, and documentation in this repository are maintained here. It is not a port of an existing repository.

## External references

The project uses the public MoonBit language and standard library APIs under their own upstream licenses. MoonBit documentation, community workflow templates, and MoonCakes package metadata were consulted for API usage and ecosystem boundaries; their source code is not vendored here.

MoonCakes searches found adjacent packages such as `moonflowgraph`, `graph-algebra`, and `license_checker`, but no mature rules-of-origin engine. This project does not copy or depend on those packages because their graph, algebra, and license-checking semantics are different from trade-origin determination.

## License policy

The repository is licensed under Apache-2.0. New dependencies must have an OSI-approved license compatible with Apache-2.0 and must be recorded here with name, URL, version, and usage. No private, closed, commercial, unknown-origin, or untraceable assets are included.
