# Benchmark record

This page records one reproducible local run of the fixed workloads exposed by
`moon run src/main`. The operation counts and solver step counts are
deterministic for the stated inputs. Elapsed time is measured with
`moonbitlang/core/bench`'s monotonic clock and is specific to the execution
environment.

## Run

- Date: 2026-08-24
- Command: `moon run src/main`
- Toolchain: `moon 0.1.20260819`, `moonc 0.10.9+6e6c44045`
- Platform: Windows NT 10.0.26200.0
- CPU: `Intel64 Family 6 Model 186 Stepping 2, GenuineIntel`; 16 logical processors

## Results

| Workload | Input and iteration count | Deterministic result | Measured elapsed time |
| --- | --- | ---: | ---: |
| FFT | 2,048 complex points × 100 transforms | 204,800 complex-point values processed | 124,675.6 µs |
| RK4IP | 100 requested propagation steps | 101 executed solver steps | 3,272,181.9 µs |

The same run also reported a 1,024-point vector NLSE step, 50
supercontinuum propagation steps, and an SVG output of 29,427 characters.

## Reproduce

Run from the repository root:

```bash
moon version --all
moon run src/main
```

Compare operation counts and solver steps first. Microsecond timings vary with
CPU, operating-system scheduling, MoonBit backend, build mode, and background
load, so this record is a measured reference rather than a performance
guarantee.
