# Development history

MoonJTD was developed as a new project, independently of MoonAvro and
MoonAttest. The Git history is intentionally preserved rather than squashed so
reviewers can follow feature boundaries and verification work.

## Baseline and core model

- `c4aaf30` defines the eight RFC 8927 schema forms and JSON Pointer model.
- `dce5d2c` adds strict recursive schema parsing.

The command-line tool prints usage for `--help` and `-h`, and returns distinct
exit statuses for invalid content and file access failures. The CLI smoke
script exercises successful commands and expected error paths in local runs
and CI.
