`basic.fastq` is an original, hand-auditable test input. It deliberately has
different read lengths, high and low Phred+33 qualities, two `N` bases, an
exact duplicate sequence, and an Illumina adapter suffix. It is not derived
from biological samples.

`basic.fastq` SHA-256: `C1BBC9F8B5B9DF05CC146D1ACF7695A11D777FD8418A7DBA20D5F02914661932`.

`basic.fastq.gz` is a gzip encoding of exactly those bytes, regenerated with
`scripts/generate_fixture_gzip.ps1`. Its current SHA-256 is
`376CA8ED3FDC3256C7BC91FDDD359A8AB9AB0AA1922B8E54B82C41578D26985F`.
